ME was good but I got to a point where I just didn't care to go back to it. I got to say I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a Bioware game since BGII. I have hopes for Dragon Age but the lack of info has me worried.

I think we should start a bet on a time line to melt-down. Or at least until the doctors leave and start another studio.

This sounds highly illegal and if it really passed Federal approval it's only because the agency has been gutted and run by an inside industry shill, like the EPA, FCC, USDA and DoJ by the criminal administration.

Just think. Under EA, the game would have been released 6 months earlier. Oh joy! *sigh*

I'm trying NOT to think of that!

As much as I'm enjoying ME, I can't help but think another 6-9 months in the oven would have made it a lot better...

I finished Mass Effect -- that game stumbled mightily as a shooter and as an RPG.

I dont mourn BioWare -- KOTOR 1 was their last good RPG. I finished Mass Effect -- that game stumbled mightily as a shooter and as an RPG.

As far as I know NASDAQ doesn't have a 4350 in their Marketplace Rules.

Where did EA get this rule from? Anyone know? If the rule doesn't exist then isn't this absorption of BioWare against NASDAQ's marketplace rules?

You never know.. Bungie escaped from Microsoft... there is still hope *burst into tears*.

If I am not mistaken the Lucasarts/Bioware MMO was 'signed' before EA, so it might, just might be devoid of EA involvement.

R.I.P. BioWare

Here lies one of the greatest development studios in industry history, stolen from the world before its time by the evil megalomaniacal conglomerate that is EA, forever cursed to obscurity and hereto remembered only in the annals of history. Here lies yet another victim of corporate consolidation that serves only to stifle creativity and innovation in this once great industry.

Farewell Bioware, we will miss you.

So which MMO will EA eventually release: the perennially postponed Warhammer or the oft mentioned but never discussed project from Bioware? It would be just like EA to put all their eggs in the Bioware basket and cancel production of WAR just before it's finally finished.

Sorry to be pedantic but neither of those games are from the U.K. the Witcher was by CD Project RED from Poland and STALKER was by GSC Gameworld who are from the Ukraine.

Was a great time. Now that you are with EA it is basically like having a great music band signing on with MTV. You can literally count the days before they crumble, disband and are thrown by the wayside for the next big, great thing.

It doesn't have to be this way. EA used to take big chances with their games long ago. Wasteland, Sentinel Worlds, Starflight, System Shock etc. Nothing could stop them then.

Now its "Lets make games that cater to all ethnic groups, both genders, and people from 5 years old to 50!"

All the above are impossible usually.

Oh well....lets look to the U.K. for the answers if they keep producing adult games like Stalker and The Witcher.
