While they don't own the IP, it was a pretty decent combat game for the PC and I think the PS2.

No...not for the PC. It was a pretty poor game for that platform and the controls were god-aweful. This game was one of those that was definitely a console-centric game.

This is pretty good. Managing your own MMA company is a lot more interesting than fighting.

its the perfect game for gay men.

I am pretty sure it is currently in the works...

But not quite so sure that they will pull it off

Check out Bungies Oni page. While they don't own the IP, it was a pretty decent combat game for the PC and I think the PS2.

I would love for them to make a spiritual successor to it.

An official UFC fighting game could be neat if they pull it off.

I am pretty sure it is currently in the works...

Unless you consider the old king of Fighters or Street Fighter 2d clones "good" there is jack all on the PC. Virtua Fighter 5 would've been perfect for PC with online multiplayer.

Nah, something with more grappling/submission, similar to the WWE games (which if you can get over the fact it's wrestling, are surprisingly deep). Not like "hit a button and you throw him"

I need to pick up VF5 badly though-- I've got a 360.

An official UFC fighting game could be neat if they pull it off. There was a UFC game for the Dreamcast that kinda managed to do it.

I'd pay for a fighting game that features ground submission/wrestling in addition to a normal striking type game.

A UFC game is in development, though I'm not sure how faithful it is to the real thing.

just so people understand, this isn't an action game in any sense of the word. it's simply a "management" simulator.

Having just finished my first try of it, it is safe to say your %200 right.

Props to it for being a smallish download.
