Here is where a screaming flamefest would ensue...
No most people love the game check out the reveiws and i agree this game is top self.
Nobody's forcing you, me, or Joe Sixpack to do anything, but the fact that Crysis won't run in an enjoyably playable fashion or look remotely like the trailers or screenshots on any more than 20% of new PCs sold does lead to the pointed implication that you need to shell out hundreds of dollars in order to enjoy one $50 game for about ten hours.
Trust me there is no hardware manufacture conspiracy here its always been this way with PC gaming, yes thats right there pushing the envelope building the next generation game engine surprise surprise you need top self hardware to run it maxed out.
But do you think the fact that Nvidia, Intel, and Microsoft have all advertised with Crytek, vigorously emphasized the benefits of their new tech with the developers, and prominently feature their logos in the unskippable pre-game advertising barrage might mean that some amount of money was exchanged? Especially since Crytek developers have continually harped on features that sound like they were cherry-picked by the above three companies?
Yes I am sure money has chaged hands after all the idea for every one involved is to make money its called capitalism,
and did I mention there is no conspiracy.
Really you should just buy a console every 4 years and be happy because PC gaming has always been expensive and it always will be.
