Out of the Blue

Today is Election Day here in the US, but it's an off year for the feds, so it's all local stuff. The only offices in contention around here are local Justices, and I have zero idea who any of these people are, what they are about, or what the issues are. I guess if I ever end up standing in front of one of these Judges and they throw the book at me, I have no one but myself to blame.

I'll have the television turned on quite a bit, but it will generally be set to something informative: news, The Learning Channel, The Science Channel, Discovery, etc. Even then, it is relegated to background noise/information while I do other things.
I am definitely a How It's Made or Mythbusters whore.
Battlestar Galactica is the only show that I will make a point of watching, when there are new (final ) episodes. Via HBO On-Demand, I'll watch the latest Real Time With Bill Maher or Curb Your Enthusiasm, but those are not required, immediate viewing on my part.

Otherwise, I end up watching a lot of shows via Netflix (Six Feet Under, The Wire, Weeds, Heroes, etc.) Lost probably falls into that category, too, though I am curious to see how they try to pick up the "ending" from the last year.

While randomly switching through channels, I may stop on the occasional Adult Swim show or The Sarah Silverman Program, but I will not make a point to watch new episodes.

Still having yet to watch a single episode of The Sopranos,

I watched Transformers on DVD.
It made me feel stupid. I worry about humanity.
I love you, mom.
