What was unimpressive about WAR beta? Besides the fact that they've shut it down for 2 months to 'work on things that concern the beta-testers.' Lol.
But every WoW player who wishes the game had good PvP is looking at WAR as the second coming. So, what didn't you like about the beta?
I'm pretty sure that that main studio is working on Dragon Age and the next installment of Mass Effect (which is to be a trilogy spread out over five years.)Wow, I completely forgot about Dragon Age (which I'd much rather play than a Bioware MMO). As long as they keep making quality singleplayer RPGs, I don't care if they make a MMO.
Jesus, we need another MMO
"Jesus, we need another MMO like we need a hole in the head. Isn't the market saturated already?"
No doubt - how about something different like... hmm..wait, I know! How about a game where you run around and shoot aliens with guns of various types! That'd rule!
Jesus, we need another MMO like we need a hole in the head. Isn't the market saturated already?
Hmmm... Well, since EA bought Bioware... the announcement sort of hints to me as a pre-EA take over arrangement, which would also strongly hint as being Bioware's MMO project. They opened the second studio over a year ago though. That studio and their work on the MMO were underway well before the deal with EA.
But Bioware opened a new studio (in Austin, TX), and that new studio is working on the MMO. The partnership with LucasArts could be for a project developed at their main studio in Alberta, CA.
Well... it most likely is an MMO.But Bioware opened a new studio (in Austin, TX), and that new studio is working on the MMO. The partnership with LucasArts could be for a project developed at their main studio in Alberta, CA.
Bioware bought the "Hero Engine" from Simultronics over a year ago and has been working on a "secret MMO". I highly doubt they'd split their staff on another new project. (After completing Mass Effect, that is).
But hey, your right... there's a chance this may not be an MMO. (Although a low chance, IMO)
