Ripperjk1, I am with you on stopping the whining about the game. But the whining will continue in regards to the business model.
In the near future, I'm sure any and every game ever released on the PC will be published by EA, the way they're buying everything up. If this business model succeeds because of Hellgate London, all future EA titles will be designed in the exact same way. Incomplete, forcing you to subscribe to something. They'll do it, in every game, in every genre.
Hellgate London is incomplete in the sense that any non-subscriber will constantly be berated with information about all the extra stuff. The non-subscriber will enjoy the game less because they know they're missing out on stuff, thus the game feels incomplete.
Thats my two cents anyway. The success of this game means the eventual shaft in all our asses for most if not all PC games in the future.
