I figured out my trouble with that bogus Error Code. It was the security features in XP blocking the install. I hate it when the OS doesn't warn you and the installing program doesn't warn you either. Damned if you do... damned if you don't.

So anyway I have only been able to play for about an hour but I can tell already it was well worth the $40. The few maps I looked at were great looking... as usual I wish there were more though.

I love the British tech & command trees from what I have seen. I look forward to besting the Panzer Elite with the inferior tanks.

I'm also one of those that rarely plays a single player campaign. I spend 90% of my time in Skirmish mode and/or Co-Op with a friend against AI. But I have logged a couple dozen hours playing online with friends and using the quick match features Relic has.

So far the only complaint is the new weather effects can't be disabled. You get two choices from what I saw on a few maps. They should have added a third choice... no weather effects. It would have been nice but the effects do look great so it's a minor gripe.

Can't remember the name of that little British armored car but it will be great for early rushes and harassment.

D'oh! I better crash so I can get up early and get into the game before all my appointments pull me away again for most of the day.

Looks like Relic has done it again. They have become the masters of RTS.
