Wonder if that pisses off Creative

Maybe a little, but at the same time it helps push their X-Fi line of cards since they support OpenAL where the older cards don't.

Where's JFK Reloaded? I still fondly remember the brouhaha about that game. :-P

And I still stand by my belief that killing the President of the US in a video game is no different than killing a German soldier in Call of Duty 2! So nyaaahhh!

I just remember one of the devs popping in here and throwing a shit fit over peoples responses...THAT was priceless.

In the upcoming content patch 2.2, the in-game sound engine is being changed to a new, exclusively software-based system.

Wonder if that pisses off Creative. Then again, I know next to nothing about sound and hardware, other than I stopped using my Audigy 2 card and just use the one on the MB now.
