accepting applications from those interested in participating in closed beta
testing of Hellgate: London, Flagship Studios' upcoming action/RPG (thanks
Voodoo Extreme). Word is that alpha testers need not reapply, entering more
than once may disqualify you, content in the beta is covered by an NDA, and,
humorously: "Signing up doesn't guarantee an invite, but does raise your chances
significantly in receiving one."

I was going to say "Our totally free Beta lets you play all you want, but every 7 minutes we flash a siezure-inducing pattern on the screen coupled with the scientifically most annoying sound ever created. If you wish to enable the 'enhanced' version of the game, complete with a 'siezure filter' and other premium content, simply pay 5.99 per week and become an ELITE BETA TESTER!"
