Hellgate: London Beta Signups

The Hellgate: London Website is now accepting applications from those interested in participating in closed beta testing of Hellgate: London, Flagship Studios' upcoming action/RPG (thanks Voodoo Extreme). Word is that alpha testers need not reapply, entering more than once may disqualify you, content in the beta is covered by an NDA, and, humorously: "Signing up doesn't guarantee an invite, but does raise your chances significantly in receiving one."

You signed up for beta and got in already Trimethicon? Damn!

Some of you guys are such cynics. You wish the game to burn in hell cause it's early Dx10 client ran like crap? WTF is that all about?

Your pissed cause the best stuff and the content updates will only available if you pay to play? Welcome to MMOGs. At least it isn't using micro-transaction system that is plaguing the consoles right now, and ending up costing people $100+ a game if they want everything that rightfully should have been there in the first place.

I'll sign up, if I get in, cool. If not, I'll wait for a demo. If I like it, I'll buy it. It does look like the spiritually successor of Diablo II. Though I have friends that are huge D2 fans and they aren't very interested.. the reason? Cause it's kinda scifi. IMHO that's what makes it interesting.

They need to learn that Diablo 3 will probably never happen. Even if it did, everyone who made D1/2 are now gone, and it'd be a completely different game. Not Diablo 2 with 3d graphics and a new 'hell' to explore.
