Ubisoft has released three of their older games as free advertising supported releases, offering Far Cry, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Rayman Raving Rabbids to those with free Ubi.com accounts who are willing to endure some ads in exchange for their free games. The downloads showed up on FilePlanet, where it seems that a paid subscription is required for the download. The games are also available on 3D Downloads (Far Cry, Raving Rabbids, and Sands of Time) and Gamer's Hell (Far Cry, Raving Rabbids, and Sands of Time), and downloading and installing the games works fine. Again, the games do require a Ubicom account, and while the free play is ad supported., I didn't not encounter any ads during a brief test run to see how they are presented.

Yeah, Ghost Recon is one of em too. I had downloaded it from Fileplanet, but a few hours later when I looked, it wasn't there. Anyway, for the ads, it's pretty unobtrusive. When it loads, it showed an ad for Prince of Persia, and again when the level loaded. Pretty bearable really.
