The Cult of Rapture
now offers downloads of the musical score from BioShock as a collection of a
dozen mp3 files. They have their own write-up, but I'm digging the description
from the press release, if nothing else for its use of "aleatoric":
Today, 2K Games released the original score to BioShock as a free download on The Cult of Rapture website. The score was created by film, television and video game composer Garry Schyman and features a combination of early twentieth century writing, aleatoric elements, musique concrete, traditional tonal and late romantic styles that capture the distinct retro-futuristic aesthetic of the game.

The CE still has them on disc, the Big Daddy figure, and the making of DVD.
And just think how that's not just any Big Daddy from the game...
Meanwhile, I absolutely love this game. I stopped playing out of dreading having it end...but I guess I'll do that later tonight. Oh well, at least Metroid will be out next week.

how'd you do that? are the sound files just sitting in a dir somewhere? or did you use some app to do it? Thanks!
also, I downloaded the score...I was expecting more of the old 40's style music. maybe that's on a soundtrack, rather than the score.
