BioShock Widescreen Woes [Aug 21, 2007, 8:52 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments

messed up ... on the 2K Forums has hundreds of posts about problems with
widescreen monitor support in BioShock impacting both PC and Xbox 360 owners. At
issue is how images are expanded and cropped to accommodate widescreen modes,
meaning widescreen users actually get less image than fullscreen users, a
situation bordering on irony. There is no good news from 2K or the studio
formerly known as Irrational on the forum, and our attempt to contact 2K about
this directly has met with no response so far.
So far I'm about 3 hours into it & WOW what an amazing game. There are only a few games I have played in my life that have left a lasting impression or great memory with me. So far I have a strong feeling Bioshock will be one of those few to add to the list. The graphics are stellar and the attention to detail is unsurpassed. I love just exploring and listening to all those crazy people scream and tell stories. People GET THIS GAME!
