Upon the release of the Xbox 360 BioShock demo (story),

For those of you who are looking for a BioShock demo on the PC, it is in the works and will be out later this month. I'll give you more details about it tomorrow.
I was a bit surprised to see the XBox demo is only 1.35GB. I was expecting 2GB for the PC demo at least (since the retail version is 8GB), and DirectX and the like won't add that much to the size.
Speaking of file size, I see some people complaining about the supposedly low-res textures in the demo. Is it possible that they were reduced in quality in order to make the demo smaller? Irrational probably would have told us if that's true, but it's still a possibility. Still, if we don't get "high-res" textures in the full version, I doubt the PC version will have them either. We'll have to wait for somebody to mod them in for us, like with Thief 3 and Oblivion.
