I actually haven't had any major issues with pc games for many years now. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones?

Very cool demo. I wasn't quite as blown away as I expected to be but my expectations were rather high so no biggie. I'll still be picking this up on launch day.....PC version of course.

Has there been any mention of how many gameplay hours they expect this to have? I've seen 30 hours tossed around, which would be nice.
Hey dudes, I just got an xbox last week and my XBL is getting pretty lonely. Add ExcessDan to your friends lists and be my friend. Right now I only have a few games to play online though: Gears of War, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Bomberman Live and Doom.

Demo downloaded for me in about 20 min this morning, 1.3GB, not bad at all.
It's a great demo, I can't wait to play the full version. Definitely one of the better games in recent years, can't wait to sink my teeth into this.
I still have concerns but I'm very excited to play this.

took me 11 hours to download the demo and boy was it woth it.
we have our new awesomest game since system shock 2 people!
Bring on the pc release (of course it will be superior for various reasons, mostly being modability) That being said it worked very well on 360 - most comfortable I've felt on a the xbox with a shooter in fact. Very very well done from start to finish.... gave me the same spine tingles as system shock. fantastic!

I believe that. Shoot, you should have started at 8:45 last night like I did, only to have Live shit itself when I had 33% of the download, and then have to start all over again and let it run another 4 hours...
Trust me, I think you'll be impressed, once you get it...
