Bethesda's MMO Studio

Bethesda Parent Opens an MMO Division has word on the formation of ZeniMax Online Studios by the parent company of Bethesda Softworks. The new developer, to be focused on MMO gaming, is headed by Mythic Entertainment founder Matt Firor. Details are scant at this point though the article speculates about what impact this may have on Fallout 3 and the next installment in the Elder Scrolls series.

"the Oblivion engine" is Gamebryo, a commercial middleware engine. It's the same one used in Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Age of Reckoning, Fallout 3, just about anything Firaxis puts out these days, and a lot of other games.
