Valve and Nexon officially announce Counter-Strike Online, which is tailored
specifically for Asian markets:
Bellevue, WA -- July 27, 2007 - Award-winning game and technology studios Valve and Nexon today announce Counter-Strike Online, a new online version of the world's number one first-person multiplayer game that will be tailored for Asia.
Counter-Strike, first released in 1999, is the world's number one first person multiplayer game, generating over seven billion player minutes per month and having sold over nine million retail copies worldwide. Nexon is the Korean-based publisher and developer of blockbuster titles such as MapleStory and KartRider. Valve is the creator of many popular first person games and the Steam online platform for PC games.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nexon will develop and be the exclusive publisher for Counter-Strike Online in South Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. Services in Korea and Japan will be carried out respectively by its Korean and Japanese entities, NEXON Corporation (CEO: Joonmo Kwon) and NEXON Japan Co., Ltd. (CEO: David K. Lee), and in China and Taiwan through collaboration with local publishers.

I'd like to update this. One of the hostages is asian. That should be enough for the damned AZNs of the world.
Besides when you have slow hostages it gives you a first target to get rid of. 3 hostages are easier to move than four & besides it's not like their real people anyway.

First of all, anytime I see someone with A-Z-N in their name, I know immediately that there's a target for some good old racism. Now whether I mean it or not doesn't matter, what matters is that some idiot was stupid enough to put his nationality into his name so I'm gonna take the bait & say things like "NUKE THE GOOKS!", and instead of LOL I'll say "Raughing out Roud". And then I'll top it off with facial features descriptions like flat-fat noses and squinty eyes and dwarf yellow bodies.
Now all that might seem mean to you & I guess it is, but that's what happens when I see some dumbfuck with bait in his name like his age, hometown, or nationality.

As far as a whole entire game being ported to a different language and changing the player models to better suit that culture, FUCK THOSE PEOPLE! It's Counter-Strike, and it already has representations from around the world. If one isn't asian, so fucking what. DEAL WITH IT!
If this catches on, pretty soon we'll have Counter-Strike for women, Counter-Strike for black people, Counter-Strike for dwarves that aren't Asians, Counter-Strike for middle-aged fat men that like ice-cream and drive volvos. I mean, fuck, deal with the original or don't fuckin' play.

Hopefully this means the game will be coded to crash every ten hours so nobody else ends up playing non-stop until they literally expire.
