New ATI Drivers

The AMD/ATI Website now offers new Catalyst 7.5 reference drivers for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Linux. The new drivers offer OpenGL performance in Windows Vista, DirectX 10 support for the Radeon HD 2900 XT under Windows Vista, and Catalyst Control Center: Linux Edition Version 1.0.

I wonder if they removed MOM.EXE from this version? Various scanners had it listed as malware/spyware and ATI only offered vague "acknowledgment" of it but no info on what the hell it actually is...

no.. Acer fucks over Acer laptop users. I've been using hacks to get the official drivers to install since acer don't update their drivers until the next solar eclipse.

Using a steering wheel on a Burnout game is like using the Space Shuttle controls to fly a kite.

Sure wish they'd get their Linux drivers stable before adding bloat like the Control Center, which most Linux users won't use anyway...
