Seriously, I spent my life getting fucked up on drugs and two decades later this is all they can come up with?

The original Zoo Tycoon was okay, but it was pretty much a slower paced rip off of Rollercoaster Tycoon. In the case of both series, the move to 3D hurt the simple playability of these games.

I think they need to come out with "Tycoon Tycoon: you are a games developer, and you have absolutely no creative ability. The game is about re-leveraging previously-successful titles, using the LEAST amount of new artwork, ideas, game text, UI programming, and code to try to sucker consumers into believing they are getting a new game as MANY times as possible. The winner will be the one who can keep a concept alive the longest (ie making money by selling to clueless Aunts, Parents and Grandparents who say "well, Billy seemed to enjoy that game we bought him last year, this one looks a lot like it!")"

Or, we could just stick a fork in the goddamn "Tycoon" series, realize we can download the same farking game for free from Underdogs circa 1992, and MOVE ON PLEASE.

I love how they keep claiming that the whole re-branding of PC games to this "Games for windows" B.S. is just a way for them to make it easier for us poor, unloved, suffering PC Gamers to play our games.

How about releasing an OS that has decent legacy support, better resource management, tighter security, and more stability then the previous one?

Silly shit like "Ease of Installation", Gamer achievements, and a Game "Explorer" isn't what was holding PC gaming back.

Actually...all MS has to do is look in the mirror to find out what really has been holding it back.

God. I had nearly as much trouble getting CoH properly patched as I had getting BF2142 properly patched.
