Got the pups back from the kennel yesterday, so everyone's home all safe and
sound. We even availed ourselves of their grooming services and got filthy
Gunnar-man bathed along the way, though we skipped this for Hudson the wonder
dog, as she is less chill with such things.

Heh, I tripped and fell down. I couldn't see the curb - it looked level to me. So I stepped out and there was a six inch drop and I fell flat out and landed on my right arm, breaking the lower radial bone. At least it's a clean break. I also tore the muscles in my forearm as I tried to break the fall. Which is probably what hurts the most at this point. And for the record I was sober as a stone when it occured. 
So I'm out of commission for at least another 4 weeks. Sigh.
