Out of the Blue

It's a lovely day for a wedding, which is a good thing, because I think this is a hippy-style on the beach affair. I do. Surfs up!

That propel is spendy - but damn is it tasty!!!

Yes.
You can get these little single serve packets you mix with a bottle of water to make Propel. It is much more cost efficent.

It is even more cost efficent to go with the store brand version of it. Same nutrients, same general flavor (good), and it breaks down to $0.10 per mix per bottle. And when you buy cheap ass bottles of water, it works out great.

I found them at my local store near the Kool-Aid and Crystal-Light.

I do not drink Gatorade, or Powerade either. Just a bunch of sugar water.
Propel is ok, but expensive.
Water is good for me.

Yeah, Gator and Power leave that residue or "i can make a spit loogie all the way to the ground to pick up a leaf and suck it back up" sort of feeling.

That propel is spendy - but damn is it tasty!!!

But, alas, water is the way to go - best thing for your body.

You only won cause ya probably had your last delivery of strawberry flavor'd crack in the basket on the front. Either that or the bike somehow caught on fire a few feet off the starting line, they canceled the race and somehow you happen to be in first.

Guess who came in first (by ~12 min) with his Walmart Special $55 mountain bike?
Given that I don't know any of your gym buddies, I give up guessing

In all seriousness, congrats man. I'm just starting up a fitness program (as in running, rather than my usual gymwork) and it made me realise how long ago it was when I was last half-marathon fit. You lose CV fitness fast

I prefer the Strawberry flavored, of course.

The singular form is "hippy". Hippy->hippies, as puppy->puppies.

Maybe chicken or pork. But beef has to age some to be really good.

I haven't had meat this good since we bought straight from farmers or slaughtered our own livestock. The past two years have included some awesome bbqs.)

And yes, I to like to laugh at people who pay a lot more for the same exact thing because they are told the store is for upper class, what tards.

On another note, a group of my friends, and quite a few other people I do not know, from the gym had a 50K bike race today.
Guess who came in first (by ~12 min) with his Walmart Special $55 mountain bike? And they where all riding fancy $500++ racing bikes (one guy was even bragging about his imported one from France, and it cost him like $4000).

Three US firms recall beef.

I find sick humor in the fact that here in MN - the 2 stores that carry this meat are the "upper echelon" of shopping stores. You pay a premium on all products you purchase (2-20%) because the stores have carpet, nice people working there, and everyone claims the produce and meat is above all other stores.

This is a personal victory of laughter to the snobs that shop at Bylerys and Lunds. Idiots.

Hay morons! That can of peas you just bought for 1.79 is .99 at Cub Foods or Rainbow!! MUHHHAHAHAHAHAAA!

/edit: (we get our meat from a local butcher - all of his products are the best I have had in years. I haven't had meat this good since we bought straight from farmers or slaughtered our own livestock. The past two years have included some awesome bbqs.)

It's "hippie", not "hippy".

For some reason, this reminds me of the never-ending string of ignoramuses (often politicians and hippies) that cannot pronounce nuclear (it's "nu-cle-ar", not "nuke-u-ler").

Hippies and nukes: two great tastes that taste great together...
