The most common come-back from them is that YOU don’t understand the Qur’an and Alah. You must read it to understand it. Stop washing your dirty damn feet and nuts in the sinks please, that’s all I have to say about it.

Enahs - have you shared that story before - or did I hear this from someone else? Maybe it is a common deal? sic.

Probably have shared it before. It is something that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Honestly - everyone should read the article - as the day went on I put a lot of thought into it - and it is scary that they are catering to a religion. It leaves it open for STATE RUN UNIVERSITIES to be over-run with religious requests for EVERY religion - not just Muslims, think about it.
I did not read the article, nor do I care to. I agree with you that special cases like this should not be made. And, sadly it is only being made, not because they actually care, but because they want to "prove" that they are not racists towards Muslims and do not think all Muslims are terrorists.

It is stupid. Making exceptions for people is in fact one of the most racists things you can do now, and all it does it promote racism, and makes it that many more generations before we will get ride of racism (if ever, we will probably kill ourselves off first).
I mean, you tell kids "do not treat people differently because of the color of their skin or their religion" yet, that is all the lawmakers are doing now...how is a kid supposed to not be racists when it is now legal to treat people of different religion an skin color differently? In fact, it is becoming illegal to not be a racist, because if you do not treat people differently based on religion and skin colors you are breaking the law.

Sorry, it was a response to Batmans link about the Muslum students that are washing their feet and nuts in our bathroom sinks. I didn't intend to be intolerant towards someone’s religion or customs, but there’s a limit. No dirty foot washing or nut washing in the public sinks please.

One time, at the gym there was this wrinkly ~70 year old man in the locker room. I walked in and saw him, completely naked, one leg up on the counter, shaving his testicals right there in the gym sink.

I could only wish he was just washing his feet or testicals.

Just thought I would share that with everybody. Enjoy.

That's my school Batman. They've been washing their damn dirty feet in the sinks for a long time now and I'm tired of it! Water all over the place, all over the sinks and the floor. My question is, does the public have an expectation that the bathroom sinks, are for the most part, foot fungis free? And if they really want to be culturally correct, then it's not only the feet they're washing! They're going to want a nut washer too, or is that going to continue to be done in the public sinks?
They should hand out fines and suspensions.

Wow, I just read that whole thing and had to ask "what the hell are you talking about?"

Hell, I'd happily forgo a criminal wasting my tax dollars with cops, court dates, jail, post-correctional facilities, etc. for some serious corporal punishment. Don't want to get a foot in your ass? Don't be a fucking criminal then!

I'm surprised you actually managed to pull yourself away from the tree you were hugging long enough to actually write that message. It's even more of a wonder you haven't died of hemorrhaging yet, what with your bleeding heart and all.

You know, for all the disagreements we've had in the past, there times I agree with you 100%.

Watched "Smokin' Aces" last night. 3/5 stars. Was decent, could have been better ie longer and the story could use some tweaking. Won't watch it again.

Haha, you people don't have any clue do you? According to you Internet luminaries, jaywalking is tantamount to forfeiting your right to personal safety, and running over a jaywalker in the middle of the street is just A-OK. Fucking idiots.

Jaywalking in Vancouver is absurd. People just blindly walking out into traffic and expecting several thousand pounds of metal and glass to come to a screeching halt just for them. In every other city in the world you haul ass and keep out of the way - which as it should be. That or you cross at the lights or a crosswalks AS INTENDED.

Let that sink in for a bit, let your nerd-rage subside, and realize that that is one of the only things protecting us from overzealous vigilantes and trailer-trash security guards from North Surrey.

Click... POW! Thump. Clean-up on aisle six. There's your excessive force. Criminals shouldn't be entitled to ANYTHING, especially when they admit guilt (as in, removing any reasonable doubt that they committed the crime). Don't want to be treated with excessive force, don't F'n shoplift.

I *totally* agree. This is why I could never get elected to any office. IMO, you steal, you get a bullet to the head.

A British Columbia Supreme Court judge said that just because Daniel Baines admitted the store had a right to arrest him in the 2004 incident, it did not mean he lacked credibility as a witness about being beaten while being apprehended.

let's see him try that down here in Texas. the cops and another half dozen passers by would have been in on the beating taking turns. we take the 2nd amendment as a requirement, not a right...

Super Mario is damn hard with a keyboard. Or maybe that's just me getting older.

Well, it isn't the same as using the high amounts of dexterity in your thumb. Your thumb can move very little on an original NES controller and it gave great amounts of movement. Now your multiple fingers on a keyboard are a lot slower - and you are probably using your right hand on the arrows - when your NES hand was your left.

Put it all together - yeah, it is a lot harder.

Careful, that's how I started too. Like a gateway drug or something. Seems innocent enough at first, but before you realize it you're shooting heroin twice a day.

Nah, I'm cool.

The show drags on way too much once they get out of those mass auditions.

I actually watched a few shows the first season when I was doing something else and walked inwhen someone was belting it out really well, but I quickly lost interest as soon as they stopped and people started talking.

Some of the singers really are amazing and it's nice to see them succeed later (Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, for instance). But I really can't stand the show itself. So I just catch bits and pieces walking through the room when my wife has it on.
