C&C3 Patch Plans

The C&C 3 Support Forums now offer details on a planned version 1.2 patch for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (thanks Ant and CNCDen) to address a number of issues with the RTS sequel (story). Word is:

We realize that the launch of Command & Conquer 3 hasn’t been completely smooth, and while some initial bumps are to be expected for most software releases, we want you to know that we’re actively working on addressing all the issues that are being reported online as possible in the form of a 1.2 patch, which we intend to release in the next 12-24 hours.

NFS: Most Wanted was a friggin master-piece in my opinion. Sure, it didn't have realistic driving characteristics and had the whole invincibility thing, but it was fun as Hell. Also, no bugs :-)

C&C 3 is definitely fun as hell. Sure, the maps aren't huge like Sup Comm but they're big enough to keep things interesting. Unfortunately I'm still running into the occasional bug, but only 1 of them has stopped me from completing a mission (and it worked after patching).

I'm not a big fan of EA in general, and hate how they'll drop support for a game pretty quickly, but some of their games are pretty good.
