So, piracy is the major reason to go multi-platform, eh?
How about... oh... making games that don't suck?
In the last several years, there has only been a HANDFUL of games worth a shit to pay a full $50+ retail price. There's been a few more MEDIOCRE titles worth getting when their in the bargain bin (after several patches released). The rest of the crap I don't even bother with.
I don't pirate my games... but a majority are purchased when they hit the bargain bin. I still hunt for a no-cd or no-dvd hack, right away. So the "anti-piracy crap" laced in the game in question just gets in the way of legit users.
While DOOM3 didn't exactly suck... it wasn't that great either.
~The hours of gameplay in a game are getting shorter and shorter.
~The bugs are getting greater and more game-breaking.
~The gameplay is getting to be the same shit with different paint.
~The constant barrage of new engines that force hardware upgrades is getting at a ridiculous pace.
And he has the balls to blame it
ALL on piracy???
