Oh, and thanks nin. I changed the startup option you talked about. Then when I tried to load the game, it stopped on the Blue Screen (huzzah!), and said something about NV drivers....

yeah, so I went and updated my Nvidia drivers, it works!
(Next youll be telling me im supposed to update windows more than once every two years).

Interesting, I havent figured how to shrink the UI yet, but I know it cna be done. I think I need to play with it some more and get a better feel for it and build orders etc.

Overall pretty good, im thinking a few players on a massive map might be a lot of fun.

And I'm the same way when it comes to drivers, and generally take the "if it's not broke, don't fuck with it" view.

That's why it took me upwards of a week to figure out my World of Warcraft issue where I kept getting dropped every 2-10 minutes. Ended up being the firmware on the wireless router, and at that point, it was about the last thing I could think of to try.

Glad it turned out well! I've got the demo myself but haven't installed it yet - hope to this weekend.

At my last job I always kept a mental list of the people that didn't wash their hands. When I was in IT - thank god for remote control! VNC for the win!

It is funny - there are a stack of paper towels on the floor near the door in all of our bathrooms - you would think they would get the hint to put a garbage there!!! Also - when I look at that handle - when was the last time that nasty thing was cleaned! ugh. They clean the bathrooms here every 2 hours - take a fuggin split second and check the handle!
