DOOM 3 Patches [Feb 02, 2007, 7:09 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
As noted in
Timothee Besset's .plan File, new patches are now available for DOOM 3,
updating the PC, Mac, and Linux editions of id Software's first-person shooter
sequel to version 1.31, and also updated the associated SDKs. Word is: "There is
nothing major in this update, but we had accumulated various fixes and
improvements over recent months and we felt it was worth putting a new release
out. We've been testing the game under Vista, and we're also bringing back
cross-platform multiplayer compatibility with the Mac (the installer was
contributed by Aspyr[1])." The plan file has id's links and the downloads are
mirrored on
3D Downloads, 3D Gamers,
FileFront, and Gamer's
Hell.
What should have been said instead - what other companies release new patches to an old game like this?
