GameSpot has a follow-up
on indications that Lord of the Rings: White Council is cancelled
(story), saying the RPG announced under the title Project Gray
Company, while not cancelled, is indefinitely suspended, quoting EA CFO Warren
Jenson who inscrutably states: "The Lord of the Rings product is back in
development in terms of being on hold."
Probably dropping the license and continuing the game, switch around a few designs and names, bingo, bango, EA makes a profit.
