Well, they weren't very specific. I'm just basing this off what I've seen in gameplay footage.

I don't think that means the units will turn instantly. At least it doesn't sound that way.

So what you get is a very fluid experience where the units react when you tell them to.

While this is good in concept, I fear it may upset the balancing of some of the stronger units. In the videos I've seen, the Mammoth tanks turn instantly, as do their turrets. Since the Mammoth tank is supposed to be a slow unit with lots of armor and firepower, having a slow turning speed for both the unit and its turret would be more balanced, as it would allow for quicker, less powerful units to outmaneuver it. You could do this against Overlord tanks in Generals and it worked well (if you had good micro), promoting unit mixing to balance out the weaknesses of any given unit.

Looking forward to SC, though Im not so bothered by problems with multiplayer, I don't really play multiplayer RTS.

Keep an eye on Supreme Commander then. It looks to blow C&C3 out of the sky anyway...

When I saw that C&C3 would also being appearing on X360 my heart sank. I've pretty much given up expecting anything. I'm expecting it will be another game where you can barely zoom out, negating any use of the word "strategy"... graphics are great but I like to be able to control my units rather than having my nose pressed up against them. I could barely play AoE3. I'll be over the moon if I can actually zoom out to a sensible distance (anything even vaguely close to the original game or RA2 would be brilliant).
