Assassin's Creed Skinny

Secrets of Assassin's Creed Leaked? on IGN (*Spoiler Alert*) relates a tidbit from an IGN TV interview with Kristen Bell, in which the Veronica Mars actress seems to reveal a science fiction component for what has been characterized as a medieval-themed game: "It's actually really interesting to me. It's sort of based on the research that's sort of happening now, about the fact that your genes might be able to hold memory. And you could argue semantics and say it's instinct, but how does a baby bird know to eat a worm, as opposed to a cockroach, if its parents don't show it? And it's about this science company trying to, Matrix-style, go into peoples brains and find out an ancestor who used to be an assassin, and sort of locate who that person is."

so what's this fascination with the Selfish Gene theory? ever since Metal Gear Solid the games industry seems to love talking about genes, memes and that crap. besides Genetic memory is voodoo bullshit and I can't believe they are basing a game on it. It'll make many people think it's real and GREAT!!! Media yet again fucking with the masses to make them believe in bullshit! ONLY Hideo Kojima teaches REAL science in his games and other games are just bullshit follow ups that follow Hideo but don't really know that Hideo was using REAL science and they are just pulling shit out of their asses! We're living in a dark ages of anti-science idiocy and the entertainment community is adding to the problem. THAT's why bush is in power and the religious freaks are gaining power... EVIL!

WTF??

Since when do people look to games for science lessons? I thought games only teach us how to plan mass murders

I'm not even angry. I'm being so sincere right now, even though you broke my heart and killed me.
