Gold - Medieval II: Total War

Medieval II: Total War for the PC Goes Gold is the press release announcing the completion of the new installment in Creative Assembly's huge-scale RTS series. Word is the game will be available in Europe on November 10 and in North America on November 14:
SEGA today announced that the highly anticipated PC Real Time Strategy game Medieval II: Total War has gone gold and will release across Europe on November 10th and in North America on November 14th 2006. Thanks, but I think my post implied I knew about that kind of stuff. I'm more interested in whether the game will actually play differently. In other words, will city sieges involve different strategy? And so on. I just want to know if it's worth buying. If it's essentially the same game with new units and graphics, I'd rather pass.

It allows you to play as a long haul trucker and earn points thru speedy delivery and truck stop hijinx!
