I heard the cloth map was pathetic. Thats atari for ya though. I have my cloth map from Baldur's Gate to this day and it's as strong and colorfull as ever.

Dont forget with the special edition theres the Blessed of Walkeen feet. It's a background feet I hear so that means you choose from it and several other 'free feets' and it doesn't impact your total number.

I'll try multiplayer soon. Right now though I'm workin on my arse kickin duel-wield flail using Barbarian. He's not all that great yet but with some lvls, monkey grip, frenzied berzerker, he'll be kickin the crap out of EVERYTHING :p

Tell ya the truth I've got about 3 different characters already between lvl 2-4 and lol, they are all super fun. The spell effects are just increadible too.

Good review and worth the read..

Yeah. That's a honest and well written review of Gothic 3. Definitely worth a read, indeed.

But yet the guy gos on to give the game a 88 over all?

He acknowledges the unpolished nature of the game but still can't help but love and admire it. That is exactly how I feel about Gothic 3.

Just picked up my NWN2 a little while ago. im still at work but as I read through my strategy guide (avoiding the walkthrough pages) im pretty excited. I went ahead and bought the limited edition, wasnt too impressed with the differences the 2 rings, cloth map (very flimsy map, basically a picture on a piece of cheese cloth) the rings are metal one has "chaotic evil" on it and the other "Lawful good". art book is something extra too.

anyhoo cant wait to give it a shot, looks like the first impressions are good. wooT!

I hate you. Nothing personally, I just hate everybody who has NWN2 now. Of course, that will change as soon as I get it too. But until then, I hate you all.

After having the game for a day now my first impressions are:

OMG this game rocks! I've BARELY begun and already it's very involving, I'm enjoying the NPC's. I've not tried multiplayer yet but I probly wont for a bit at first. Desslock said the best cRPG since Planescape: Torment (and yes far better then oblivion, at least in terms of storyline, npc's, etc). I'm starting to agree!

Good review and worth the read..

"Resources, compatibility: 48: There are entire projects which don't have that many bugs in their entire production span.

But yet the guy gos on to give the game a 88 over all?

Word is you need some monster hardware to run this game ive got it and was really looking forward to this game so if PB can get there shit together and fix the bugs Id love to play but not until its patched to a point where its playable, with less than a month for the US Release some how i doubt they can get that done in time, guess there no question they let this one out of the bag way to soon.
