Howzabout a game where player Actions trigger State Changes in the structural elements - the social, political, religious and economic variables - that make up the game world. Local state changes may/may not affect other structural elements in other areas causing a ripple effect through the entire world and cause storyline branching to occur on a macro gameworld level. Player Actions would have Consequence.
