Postal 3 Details

Postal 3 Officially Announced on FiringSquad has word from Running With Scissors that preliminary work is underway on Postal 3, a sequel to their self-consciously outrageous first-person shooter. The only real details provided are the game's use of Valve's Source engine, their partnership with Russian publisher Akella for distribution, and a planned late 2008 release date. It is also noted there will some training missions this time around to help understand the game's free-form environment.

...I enjoyed a lot of Postal 2. It's main problem was that it seemed to be "trying to hard" to be offensive instead of focusing on other elements that could have improved the game. But the game did have golden moments.

Nothing like being chased by a burning, rampaging elephant through a parking lot to get your adrenaline flowing.
Trying to get to the butcher shop will fighting your way through a bunch of rocket launcher toting Osama bin Ladins was fun too.

The problem was you actually had the feeling that they had kind of run out of ideas before the game was done and just put in a lot of filler. You can kind of tell where the ideas were spontanious and where things were just forced.
