Frans) has word that DEFCON is gold, offering a photo of the gold master disk
for the global wargame as provenance. Word is: "After a staggering Five Months
worth of beta testing, Defcon has finally gone gold. The master disk has been
produced, checked, and sent away for manufacturing. The downloads are ready. We
are on schedule for launch at 6.00pm GMT, Friday 29th September. It's all rather
exciting."
I see there's single player mode vs. AI and multiplayer mode vs other players. Is there multiplayer mode vs AI (co-op)?
Yes.
Great. I just saw a link to a manual posted online and it mentioned "Three or more Human Players recommended" for diplomacy mode. So that basically confirmed it. I didn't see it on their product feature list. They should definitely add a bullet for co-op there.
The real question is, is there an AI vs AI mode.
And yes.
Of course, just set number of players to 0 !
