New feature list...

- Ability to drop Carriers on your commanders head.

Why cant it REMEMBER my unlock weapon settings between teams and servers. Its so annoying to have to select them every time.

What about the client exiting when joining a server? So annoying.

why not just get rid of vehicle drop!?>???? Its incredibly stupid..now they "fix" it so its essentially useless anyway.
At best it was an annoying spamming toy, it should never have been.

No kidding...

I can't understand why they added this thing to begin with.
With all the things wrong in the game they spent the time a resources to add a feature that I doubt any player really wanted.

Talk about disconnected from reality.

One of the devs probably found himself playing on a large map one day and got stuck out in the middle of nowhere. Then decided, this game needs to be able to drop jeeps anywhere on the map!!! What a great idea!!!

I can't wait to see what their next great idea is going to be.

I love vehicle drop. I wish it was in POE2, too, because there are plenty of times where I'm in the middle of nowhere with a long walk ahead of me.

I've never been able to vehicle drop a commander asset to death, and being crushed by a falling vehicle is such a rare occurence that it's more hilarious than frustrating.

Anyway, glad the patch came out, but POE2 has totally overshadowed EA's efforts. POE2 RULES!!!!

Whatever the whiners say...its a great time to be a bf2 player.
There are at least 2 good mods out right now..POE2 and Project Reality which provide dozens of fun new maps and a different gameplay experience ("fallen" in poe2 is just mindbogglingly fun) and vanilla has gotten a great new map and a new game-mode. All this in a game thats out for over a year. Not too bad I would say.

I like to think that dudes blog slamming EA/DICE's slowness in getting this out had something to do with this

I haven't picked the game up from my game/movie shelves in many months. By the sound of it, looks as though it'll be staying there for many more.

Blue, that post is a mess. How about breaking up the links by file type using a bulleted list and only typing "registration required" once. Example:

-Update patch (version 1.3 only)
Link*, Link*, Link, Link

-Full patch (any prior version)
Link*, Link*, Link, Link

-Linux server
Link*, Link*, Link, Link

-Win 32 server
Link*, Link*, Link, Link

*=registration required
