No BF2 Patch Today [Aug 15, 2006, 10:23 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Following up on word last week that the version 1.4 patch for Battlefield 2
would be released today (story), EA Europe announces that this
will not happen as planned, as some problems were discovered as the patch was
being reviewed. They expect to have an update on when the patch will be available
sometime tomorrow.
Heh, actually I'm looking forward to BF2142, I am soooo sick and tired of WW2 games, I want freakin laser beams!
What kills me is in every BF2 map description it says 'This is a Conquest Type Map'. Like there are any others?
As for the Tribes refrence I have a big feeling with Mechs and infantry in the game a Starsiege/Tribes mod or 2 would be in the works. And while I liked Tribes, I honestly thought the pacing was just a wee bit fast, but then again I use to love Quake 1 Deathmatch, and tried out Quake 4 deathmatch, and I was being slaughtered by the twitch kiddies.
