No BF2 Patch Today [Aug 15, 2006, 10:23 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Following up on word last week that the version 1.4 patch for Battlefield 2
would be released today (story), EA Europe announces that this
will not happen as planned, as some problems were discovered as the patch was
being reviewed. They expect to have an update on when the patch will be available
sometime tomorrow.
I'm sick of all those negative "hater" postings about bf2. This is the best game I ever played. Period. And I have played games literally since pong. Hell..I have probably played the demo alone more than the last three 3 games I bought combined. Its over a year and I still log on to play almost every night.
All the "bugs" that people complain and whine about are minor and don't keep thousand and thousands of people from playing and having fun every day..some like me racking up hundreds of hours of play-time.
Considering the complexity of this game..the large maps..the mix of vehicles and different infantry classes, the physics...the game is very very stable and has surprisingly few issues especially compared to its few competitors (joint ops, soeldner, Warrock).
