We had lots of fun catching up with the family yesterday. The surprising number
of birthday gifts and such that we had to distribute in addition to presents for
the birthday girl, however, were a shocking indicator of how long it had been
since some of us had gotten together, so we will have to make sure that this
doesn't become a trend.

I'd already rolled out Windows Defender (gah... another farking generically-named piece of software..) at work a few months ago. It's a bigger resource hog than MSAS, it's got some functionality removed, so I think anyway, but still seems to half-decently catch stuff.
Eh, I'll live.
It's not my only home machine - though it's the only one out of the four that runs any flavor of Windows (and thus, is the one on which I play games... moving on..).
As to Prey, love the demo, visuals, etc; however, I can't bring myself to spend so much on games at the moment - bills, rent and a few unexpected financial things and all that. I'm planning to wait until it hits at most $30 or around there. *shrug*
