If you are 12 I guess using esdf is ok, but adults have bigger hands.
You do realize you're using less keyboard than I am, right? If you keep your fingers on sdfg and I keep mine on shift-sef then I actually have my fingers more spread out than you do. So you're "small hands" argument makes no sense. Which is kind of fitting.
Anyway, I use this:
e - forward
d - backwards
s - strafe left
f - strafe right
w - use
r - reload
shift - duck
ctrl - walk
mouse1 - shoot
mouse2 - alt fire/melee
mouse3 - zoom
wheelup - next weapon
wheeldown - previous weapon (why is the default reversed?)
gives me q, a, z, t, g, v all within easy access for various features. Yet, somehow, even with five mouse buttons and all of those, I ran out of easy keys with FEAR.
But yeah, Batman. Your hands must be tiny if they're comfortable resting all in a row like that. I space mine out a bit more, and stagger them on different levels.
