It's the over the top gameplay mechanics that hurt TF too, a high learning curve. That, and how is it a sequel if it's just a toon graphics upgrade not even touching the game?
But I'm not even arguing that: I'm saying they CAN do a realistic setting, with realistic weapons, but NOT have realistic gameplay! Not psuedo-realism like BF2, more like ET realism, even less than that!
You can have a realistic setting, like Brotherhood of Arms, and NOT be a realistic game, is what I'm saying.
