Into the Black

Devicer informs me I was only a good 27 lbs off in estimating the enormity of Cali, their Rhodesian Ridgeback, as she is now apparently up to 117 lbs, and is currently being considered for her own zip code.

Shit, I prefer them! On the last flight to Vegas I was amazed at the amount of leg room I had.

Leg room or not - my decision is based on principles.

I had posted before in response to your first post about the Ridgeback that I Thought the dog was awefully small for a ridgeback. Because the one I had originally encountered was roughly 120 pounds. Glad to know that my figures were close LOL.

From the late 1500s to the 1600s, pirates preyed on the large Spanish galleons that visited the American coast, known as the Spanish Main, twice a year. These galleons dropped off supplies for the colonies and picked up gold and silver to take back to England.

Which really pissed off the Spanish and surprised the hell outta the English...

Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be an entry at HowStuffWorks.com for "proof editor."

Last time I was on a Southwest airlines flight they were giving these as snacks.

I refuse to fly Southwest any longer.
They have XM Radio on the plane, but no Fungus 53.
(also there is a long tirade here, but I posted it before - they have XM, but if you have a personal XM player, they make you shut it off during the "no electronics" stage of the flight - say what!?)

I wasn't looking for a "health snack" (and I use that phrase loosely, as I'm sure E-strawberriesstrawberriesstrawberries-nhas will object ) but a coworker mentioned them...

Actually, my name is Sean Cutter Knox, and just about everyone I know calls me Cutter in real life anyway. Couldn't really settle on a new made-up nick, so I thought I'd roll with Cutter for a time untill something else strikes my fancy.

I was considering Ray Marden Jr., but alas, there really is, and only should be, one Ray Marden. Speaking of which...where the hell is Ray Marden? Kind of reminds me of another of those Chuck Norris "facts"....'Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.'

P.S. Nice find, Heather. Looking forward to seeing POTC2.

Eh... I don't care for them that much. Love peanuts; love Nutter Butters, but not these things. I've also had some Planter's brand peanut butter crackers (after donating blood) and they tasted like crap.

Now the 100 calorie packs of Doritos taste great -- as best I can tell they're the exact same as the regular ones, but smaller size chips. And, of course, like all the 100-calorie pack stuff you pay through the nose.

*cough* you can get the same amount of calories in ~2/3rd of a pound of strawberries

If you are looking for a super low calorie snack and you like sour apples or sour grapes then you should try snacking on some rhubarb. It has the same satisfying crunch as celery but taste really good (if you like those previously mentioned taste), no need for any dip or anything.

That would be the ultimate low calorie snack…we are talking less then 30 calories for a stalk the size of a celery stalk and very good tasting.

Just throwing it out there for ya! I got lots and lots others.

One of these days I am going to make a website with all my low calorie recipes. People never guess they are low calorie….they are just some of the most damn tasty meals ever (I am not talking about just snacks here)!

Was the crotch-biting dog video I emailed you too late, or a repeat?

Sorry nin, but that would've screwed up the 50% ratio for Zathrus and Heather submissions this evening.

And sorry about the registration required -- I clicked through from Google News and either have a BugMeNot login there already or it didn't ask based on the referer.

nin: Is that the one biting its own leg?

I'll wait and see if it makes it tomorrow...

My problem is, I read Blue's during the morning update while at work. But as the company specifically put out a policy against streaming video/radio, I don't click on the video links while at work - and then forget to do so once I get home. So I think I frequently end up emailing Blue links to videos he's already posted...(Sorry, Blue!)

If it doesn't show up tomorrow, I'll post it. It's also slightly borderline NSFW, due to a few moments...
