Battlefield 2 Update

A new Battlefield 2 update (thanks James) paradoxically describes the great success of the launch of the Armored Fury booster pack and their recognition that this has been a "very trying time" for fans of DICE's shooter sequel. They also mention that the map they were recently testing (story) will be in the next patch, rather than a booster pack. Most significantly, they describe a commitment to fix some things going forward:
The DICE team has been reviewing player feedback gathered from forums, email, and the ranker server providers in an effort to provide the best possible step forward from 1.3. While this work has been highly focused on bug fixing the team has also managed to put some work towards new content.

I still have a P933 with an ATI9250. It barely plays ET and BF1942. I get a lot of entertainment from those two games. I've put in about 50 hours of BF2 and was going to buy a new computer system for it, but....

Why? Everytime I go to my brothers place to play it, it's a different game. Plus, it seems like after fucking around for around four hours, we finally get into a good game (with teamspeak and a squad that is working), he's got to go to work. He knows the good servers, I don't. To me it seems like it would be fun if I had the time...
