Ships Ahoy - Half-Life 2: Episode One

Valve announces that Half-Life 2: Episode One is now available via Steam:
Valve Launches First of an Episodic Trilogy

Bellevue, WA, June 1, 2006 - Valve®, developer of the blockbuster series Half-Life® and Counter-Strike™, announced Half-Life® 2: Episode One is now available via Steamgames.com for just $19.95 and at retail outlets around the world.

The first in a trilogy of episodic games, Episode One reveals the aftermath of Half-Life 2 and launches a journey beyond City 17. Episode One does not require Half-Life 2 to play and also includes a first look at Episode Two, which will ship by year's end.

In addition to the new single player experience, two multiplayer games are included. And those who purchase Episode One will have free access via Steam (www.steamgames.com) to Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, the interactive technology demo that introduces High Dynamic Range lighting to the SourceTM Engine, Valve's award-winning game technology.

Seriously, you think $20 is too much? Jesus, I must make WAY too much money. I buy DVDs all the time for only a little less and I don't think anything of it. This game will last me several hours. Worth 20 bones to me.

I used to work at Microsoft & one of the reasons I quit to open my own business was because of elitist assholes like yourself. I swear to God, you can ask any of those overpaid nerds about homeless people or single mothers on welfare & the answer 100% of the time is for those lazy freeloaders to get a job. You sad fuckers have no sense of the world beyond your own fuckin’ noses. The fact of the matter is that you probably do “make WAY too much money”. But the really, sad fact is that the only good you ever do with it is brag & buy things to brag. I can imagine you driving your cock-mobile, most likely red in color, and wait until 5:30pm when you know that Mr. Jones will be coming home so he can see you washing it & you can wave to him like the obnoxious, superficial piece of shit you really are.

$20 isn’t too much money you pathetic idiot. That’s not the point. The point is that it isn’t fun to wait for Valve to complete the rest of the game & charge us more than retail price for that game & this is after they promised that Steam would lower prices for the customer by removing the middle men & therefore they have lied.

By the way, you’re a fucking moron for buying DVDs all the time. Try netflix, for less than $20 you can get about 10 movies a month on DVD, you fucking ninny!!!

Oh, and after the credits, the game might look like it has crashed to desktop - it's just doing "something" that will play the Episode 2 preview. Mmmh, City 17 outskirts!

4) The GMan says about 3 words at the beginning and doesn't appear again.

Nice work you dumb fucks. How about using Spoiler text you asshole faggot fuckers!!!!

The people comparing Length Quality to games like Pool of Radiance & movies like King Kong or those starring Kevin Costner…

If a game or movie isn’t good, you don’t have to watch it/play it until the end. Also, there are very, very few movies that starred Kevin Costner that were any good at all. Half-life is a well-liked game with enjoyable characters, so using such an actor for your comparison shows us that your comparison is stupid and useless, like yourself.
