Rush for Berlin MP Demo

The promised multiplayer demo for Rush for Berlin is now available, offering a sample of the alternate-history World War II real-time strategy game from Stormregion. The demo co-premieres on 3D Gamers and FilePlanet (registration required), and the download is mirrored on 3D Downloads, Boomtown (registration required), Computer Games, FileFront, FileNuts, Gamer's Hell, GameSpot (registration required), VGPRO and Worthplaying. Accompanying word is: "Over the coming weeks, players from different countries will play off against each other in a worldwide tournament that will determine who is the 'Best Rush for Berlin Player'! The ladder competition will play out on Gamespy Arena and the winners will share hundreds of dollars worth of prizes!"

I love how the start menu folder for the SP demo has a link to the starforce remover tool page.

I can smell them chomping at the bit to get their hands on a game that doesn't break their computer.

I worked on copy protection code for games. They can easily make the demo scrambled with a different key to the main exe. If they could be bothered.

shudder. what kind of maniacs put copy protetcion on demos?

Sigh. This has been covered a million times already. They usually put copy protection on the demo, because the unprotected executable for a demo can be used to crack the executable for the full game's copy protection through reverse engineering.

glad to see a multiplayer RTS demo, if its any good, me and my buddy will end up getting 2 copies for LAN games. All RTS games benefit hugely from multiplayer demos these days.

Anyone know if the multiplayer demo has starforce in it just like the single player demo did?
