I dunno, i watched the video and kept thinking that they were relying on the environment too much.

For instace if in the boss fight you miss him with the swinging log, then what?

Environment usage should compliment the players arsonal not force the player to rely on it.

Other than that looks pretty good.

I second the spells, too; some great stuff there. Add the combat and I can see some great battles ahead.

I third that statement, the one thing that really disapointed me with oblivion was the real weak effort on spell visuals and damage effects to your opponents.

But does anyone know if there's outdoor stuff too?

I am wondering too if this game will be a level load type game or GTA style load as you go.

Looking pretty sweet so far.

Now that's what I call a boss battle! The environments themselves might be a mixed bag though...generic tunnels mixed with setpieces...not such a bad thing. But that bossmonster looked awesome; he really looked like part of the environment in a way I've seldom seen.
And the little sripts like pushing away the stone slab...if they manage to keep up that level of gameplay immersing scripts throughout the game... Biggrin

I second the spells, too; some great stuff there. Add the combat and I can see some great battles ahead.

But does anyone know if there's outdoor stuff too? It seems like DMoMaM is shaping up to be a dungeon crawl only (not that that's a bad thing :))

Looks cool, but the environmental weapons seem pretty gimmicky. Seems like being aware of your surroundings really consists of looking for ropes to cut.

The environment graphics didn't seem that amazing either but man are the spell animations cool or what. Looking forward to this, hope it has a decent story to go with the action.

Very impressed with Dark Messiah. Looks better with every bit of media they release.

DMOMM looks great, but I noticed there are some animation and collision detection issues in the E3 demo. I'm hoping they can polish those up before the game goes retail.
