Prey Trailer, Demo Plans

A blog comment by Scott Miller on Game Matters (thanks Voodoo Extreme) has word from 3D Realms that as crunch time progresses on Prey, they are preparing to release a playable demo for the first-person shooter in the works at Human Head Studios. Word is: "That's why we're releasing a demo of Prey before the game comes out, and I feel very strongly that the demo will be our most important marketing tool for the game, by a long shot." In further Prey news, the 3D Realms Website has a list of mirrors of "a high quality downloadable video file of the new "Prey Super Trailer" by Jeron Moore."

Quake 3 + Turok (the origional) + Doom engine = Way cool game.

That really takes me back to the first demos of Q3 with them showing off the new Portal Technology. Combined with that same feel i had when playing Turok on N64 the first time all put together with some amazing level design and D3 Engine use.

Going to bee a sweet game no doubt about it.
