Tigers have crap turn speed and were weak against late-war Soviet tanks. Look it up people.
The Tiger was purportedly quite a nimble machine for its size and tonnage, comparable to much smaller tanks. The transmission and steering system were apparently much easier to operate, if not completely reliable. It was also capable of pivoting in place, which many other tanks could not do. It wasn't a slow lumbering beast like it's usually made out to be.
And as for opponents, it positively butchered T-34's when it arrived on the battlefield. Soviet tanks got bigger, but then so did German armor. Soviet vehicles like the IS series may have eventually outclassed the Tiger, but by then there were other German tanks that made the original Tiger look like a kitten.
If the game is based on realistic performance, it might make for an interesting simulator. But it seems that as much as they throw "realistic" around in the pitch, it's mostly over physics, handling, etc, and not actual capability. Gameplay concessions may have been made.
