...and now the computer mows the lawn and takes out the trash every other Tuesday...

What?

Yes, keep making light of the issue (usually with examples that make no sense at all), despite the numbers of people that continue to speak up about their bad experiences with starforce. Because as long as you haven't had any, there must be no problems, right? Ladies and gentlemen, a graduate of the Derek Smart School of Logic.

Keep going to bat for those who seek to take away your control over your own environment while mocking your fellow gamers. It's cool!

It does keep Windows Explorer from being able to access my dvd player and only one dvd burner program I've found is able to burn anything on it, the others repeatedly say it's an un-burnable dvd. I took starforce out and all problems went away, put it back in and problems resumed. That's enough proof for me and this company lost another sale.

Yeah, my mother's cousins sister's brother-in-law has a neighbor down the street who installed it, and now the computer mows the lawn and takes out the trash every other Tuesday...

The new Starforce crashware that they put in TOCA 3 is even more evil than the old stuff. I'm hearing from a number of people that I know that their DVD drives will no longer play movies, their computers often refuse to shut down and just freeze up, and quite a number of other things. This is from people I know rather than the usual random anonymous people on the web. They also have some new monster 16mb garbageware to go with it which is doing who knows what.

They only put this stuff in if you let them get away with it people. Don't buy garbage that ruins your computer. At least a few companies are starting to realize this.
