Thank the GODS! Someone gets it! Coming from Richard though is no surprize. More than anyone else HE has more experience with RPGs and MMORPGs. That comment along has made me very interested in TR.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this HL2 episodic stuff.

Why? Because of the length? People pay $50 for a 10-hour game, so what's the problem with 4-6 hours for much less? Including a commentary too?

He can't every time something Ultima has been started EA has canned it.

But I'd really like to see what he would do with an established universe like Warcraft/Starcraft/hell even AD&D.

ah poor old Lord British, he's a really nice person but, like a once-Great actor who tries to hang on too long, he needs to get out of active day-to-day game design and do something else (something More) with the rest of his life; maybe use his name and fame to start an incubator for new media studios, or write a novel, or hook up with Woz or Carmack or Branson on some project.
