Into the Black

The TV listings had tonight's South Park episode as "Trapped in the Closet," which is apparently the episode behind Isaac Hayes' departure from the show, but instead they showed "Chef's Chocolate Balls." At first I thought the scheduled listing was to be deliberately provocative, but even if it was a coincidence, I can't think of why they would switch it. Weird...

here's why bittorrent keeps the Free World free.

You live under an illusion. You are not truly free. Be it naive or environmental hard determination, your ass if firmly glued to a set of a directives.

Gotta love those freshman philosophy classes. Should've taken ethics instead.

It was shown in Australia, it's not that funny an episode. I didn't know it was the episode that Hayes quit over, strange because he quit a couple of days ago but it was shown weeks ago. Screw him anyway, offending every one else is fine but his religon isn't?

To be honest, I'm surprised that it's taken this long to lampoon Scientology!

When I set my dvr for it the program guide was for the trapped in the closet episode. Comedy central was also running promos for that episode. It was part of a collection of their most controversial episodes that had been running this month.

Fuck Tom Cruise, Lord Zenu, and all those other Sci-fi mothership jockey's. Paramount could bury Cruise in court and shove this episode up his ass for laughs, they just can't afford to piss of the goose who lays the golden turds when he's starring in Paramount's flagship summer movie this year. I keep waiting for the day I turn on CNN to see these crackpots all lying dead in bunk beds wearing matching track suits and Nikes ala Heaven's Gate off to meet the mothership.

Good Lord there's a retarded kid named "Timmy" of all things and making fun of this runt is going too far?

om Cruise has reportedly stopped an episode of South Park that mocks him from being aired in Britain. The show, in which Nicole Kidman and Cruise's fellow Scientologist John Travolta are depicted attempting to coax an animated version of the actor out of a closet caused controversy when broadcast in the US. The cartoon Kidman tells Cruise, "Don't you think this has gone on long enough? It's time for you to come out of the closet. You're not fooling anyone." - referring to allegations about Cruise's sexuality. According to TheRegister.co.uk, Paramount has agreed not to show the episode again, after Cruise complained. A source tells the site, "Tom is famously very litigious and will go to great lengths to protect his reputation. Tom was said not to like the episode and Paramount just didn't dare risk showing it again. It's a shame that UK audiences will never see it because it's very funny."
